There are two ways to read Okanogan's records and they are not equivalent. The county's own portal publishes images only for plats, surveys, short plats and similar - deeds and mortgages are index-only there, which the county attributes to privacy. The Washington State Archives publishes the same recorded land records WITH images, 1993 to present, free. If you only try the county you will conclude the images are not online.
Start years vary enormously across Washington - Chelan reaches 1888, Pierce 1984, Okanogan 1993 - so a neighbouring county is not a guide.
